About a month ago I put Brody in his bassinet to sleep. Yes he used to sleep with me, and I loved it but now hes just getting too big and moving around too much. And being that I only have a twin bed he was taking up way too much room. So I finally gave in and moved him into his bassinet. He actually is doing really good in it which surprised me, as long as his puppy is with him that is. My moms good friend Nately bought Brody this cute stuffed dog, he always liked to kind of snuggle up to it so I figured Id see if it helped him sleep better. And sure enough it did, he will go to sleep snuggled right up to it. He also loves it when I turn the vibrator on that is on his bassinet, and of course hes got to have the binky. First of all don't judge me for putting a stuffed animal in Brody's bassinet with him. I know they say its bad but every mom knows she will do anything to make her baby go to sleep., and if she says otherwise shes lying. And second yes hes STILL in his bassinet. He is pretty much the exact length of it, so he still fits but there's no growing room. I need to set his crib up but there's just no room in my room.

It's funny that Brody loves his puppy dog, because we all call him our little puppy dog!!! He looks so sweet sleeping with it!!!
One, don't worry about the animal in the crib, Savvy has three. People are just paranoid. And two, Landon was in his bassinet until he was 7 months old. We were waiting for the crib. Brody is so cute, I just love his pouty lips!
You are young, but you are right! Mothers will do almost anything to get their child to sleep. I think it's cute. Plus he is old enough now that if he can't breathe...he will move! It's not like the puppy is a strangling device! Hey and as for the bassinet...whatever works. Seriously Meg slept in her swing until 8 months. Then after 12, she was in a queen bed. People thought I was crazy putting her in a real bed, but she wouldn't sleep in a crib, and like you said, I didn't care where she slept as long as she slept!
aww Brody is so cute! i totally know what you mean about being a bed hog!! Korbyn just sprawls out and kicks me in his sleep if i touch him LOL! Be glad you can GET him to sleep in his bassinet Korbyn wont sleep alone for longer then 30 min no matter how tired he is or what time it is!!
That is such a sweet picture! He's so cute! Austin went through a lot of different ways of sleeping when he was under a year old. Back then he used to have a realy soft blanket or one of his stuffed animals!
