Finally at an 8!!!!!!!! It's 3 in the morning and things are moving along. Hopefully within an hour or two, we will meet Brody :)

Alissa is doing great! The epidural was wonderful for the first 2 hours then the pump shut off and no one knew it. Alissa was really starting to feel the pain and mama Arianne put her foot down, not once, but twice and finally convinced the nurse to come check her. She was at a five and pretty squirmy, trying to leave her hand prints permanently on the bed rails. The anesthesiologist was called in and when he arrived he said "Did you turn the pump off?" Of course the nurse said "no" but that was the answer to the pain!!! They got that going again and life is good!! :)

So there it is...from beginning to end. I have come to realize that 9 months is a rather long time...no an extremely long time! And mommy is ready for it to be over, that's putting it lightly. I cannot say that i haven't enjoyed the last 9 months though, it has been a blessing to be able to experience all of this. I have loved getting to know my little man and watching him (or rather my tummy) grow. My due date is September 29th, 2008...yes that is tomorrow! I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow night at 7:00. I am filling a mixture of emotions about this. I am excited, nervous, scared, anxious, worried but most of all i think i just want to meet the little man of my dreams already. My love for him has grown so strong, i can only imagine what it will be like when i lay my eyes on him. Brody Evan Jensen....we cant wait to meet you!

Yes, its true...i finaly have a blog. And if your wondering where you might have heard this before you have probibioly looked at my familys blog. My mom and I have had blog fever! We just recently got a family blog up and going, after which I decided that I needed to get my own going. I decided that myspace isnt quiet as cool as it used to be...everyone has now moved onto this! Hope everyone enjoys my blog!
