So I took the tag off of Dedree's blog. When I first read it I thought no way can I come up with 10 things to write about myself, I'm defiantly siting this one out. But I swear i could not get it off my mind. It seemed pretty fun so I just went ahead and did it anyways. The rules are to list ten honest things about myself & then tag 10 blogger's who I think are honest in their blogging. Here I go.

1. I am a total twilight saga addict. I mean really sometimes I have to remind myself that its not real. And I am totally in love with Edward, or actually not so much Edward but more of his personality and adoring unconditional love for Bella. And how he shows is too, boy their romantic life is intense! Oh how Id die for some of that romance in my life!

2. I cant keep a house clean. Plain and simple that's just how it is, Now that I'm a Mom I suck at cleaning. I'm not blaming it on Brody at all, its my own fault. I cant multitask enough to keep on top of things. I just cant ever seem to get much done. I need a professional to come and organize my house the right way, then maybe I could keep things clean.

3. I love love love to cook. I just recently realized this when I got married. I always used to like to cook, but now that I have to do it, I love doing it! I'm not the best by any means, but I'm working on it. Stuart is such a trouper about it too, he never complains when one of my recipes goes wrong. He doesn't really say he likes it either though, so I usually know what not to cook again. And I love hunting online for new and tasty recipes.

4. I am a big time procrastinator. I put everything, and I mean EVERYTHING off until the last minute. I'm always in a rush and you can usually count on me to be running behind. I know, not a good trait at all but at least I'm honest right?

5. I swear I ask Stuart several times a day when he will be getting home, Even though most of the time I already know the answer. There's just a part of me that thinks maybe if I ask maybe just maybe he will get home early. And I absolutely hate harvest!!

6. I LOVE the beach. I would pick going to the beach over just about anything. Even if its bad weather out, its still better then anywhere Iv ever been.

7. I cant read lips, at all. Never try and mouth something to me because I will have absolutely no idea what you are saying. I might try and pretend like I do, But trust me, ill have no idea.

8. I can never stay mad at Stuart, even if we're fighting or arguing all I want to do is run over and hug and kiss him and make it all better. But I'm also stubborn so it doesn't happen very often.

9. I just like to be alone sometimes. I love love love my friends, they are awesome. But I don't really feel a need to be around them all of the time, not in a bad way at all. I just like to do my own thing sometimes. I never really used to be like this though, must be a Mommy thing or something. I even like going to the grocery store alone, weird!

10. Okay, I swear I'm not trying to copy Dedree on this one but I too cannot live without my chap stick. I am totally and utterly addicted. My family will attest for it, if anyone needs chap stick they know the right person to ask. Its pretty pathetic I know.

11. I love love love to hold hand, hug, kiss, cuddle, and just plain be close to Stuart. I cant go very long with him around without doing one of them. I cant help myself, I'm in love! (I couldnt not put this one in, sorry went one over!)

One of Brody's favorite things is to dig through my purse and see what he can find. And well this is what he found this time....

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this is pretty funny! Especially since he wouldn't let go of it all night and would cry if I took it away from him.

A Sunday Afternoon

Brody and I haven't been feeling great so we all stayed home from church today. Brody can only stay in the house for so long which means we were bound to make it outside sooner or later. He is such an outdoorsy kind of guy, I love that about him (except for when I get cold and want to go back inside). When Anya was in school she got a recipe for Orange Julius's, which just happens to be one of Stuarts favorites. I'm not sure how much he likes mine though, he never really says much about it. But Brody loved it! He could have sat there all day sippin on his orange Julius.

Not only is Brody getting extremely mobile, he is also getting extremely sneaky and smart! Those three are not really a good combination in a little boy. I have been sick and couped up in the house the last couple days not feeling like doing much of anything. Brody was being pretty fussy and it was nice out today so I decided it was a good day to go outside (I think it was my first time in 2 days). Brody loves being outside. I tried to get him to hang out in the grass but he didn't want much to do with it. Being the little explorer that he is he went straight to the fence and this is what happened...

I love this little boy to death, I mean more than anything but I swear he is going to be the death of me!! This sneaky little boy climbed up onto the cement so that he could unlatch the fence. How he even knows that the fence needs to be unlatched is beyond me!

This is the part that really gets me. He didn't open the gate all the way, of course not. He only opened it far enough so that he could sneak out without being noticed!

How stinkin cute is that. I mean really how does he even know to do that!!

Once he got out I think he kind of wanted back in. I couldnt resist taking a few pictures though before I let him back in.

Brody has been standing by himself for a long time now, but that's it. He will just stand there forever and when he realizes what hes doing he will go down and crawl to where ever it is he wants to go. I haven't personally witnessed it but both my Mom and Dad say that he will just stand up by himself not holding onto anything. Tonight Devin stopped by for a little bit and Brody was standing by the boys and all of a sudden he took a step! He only took one cause I think he didn't quiet know what to do so he just went down on his knees. But Hes officially taken his first step now! Devin was there when Brody first crawled too, I was joking around that we should have Devin over more often and maybe Brody will learn all kinds of things. Either that or he just likes the audience.

Brody is one stubborn little boy. He is still taking two naps a day, one around 10 (depending on when he wakes up) and one around 2 or 3. Well this morning he decided that he didn't need this morning nap, or at least that's what he though. I tried several times to put him down and he just wouldn't have it. Usually when I get on the computer I put him in his highchair so he isn't crawling all over me typing on the keyboard. I gave him a few snacks and the next thing I knew he was asleep. Silly boy.

I had to get ready for work and WAS NOT going to even try and move him and worry about waking him up. So I propped his head and he had a great nap in his highchair.

My sweet little boy can be soooo stubborn sometimes.

Brody has had friends before, but none that he has really been able to play with. He has always been too little to even know what to do. Now that he is getting a little older he is wanting to interact with other kids a lot more. So as you can imagine Brody LOVES it when Austin comes over! We had Devin Annie and Austin over for dinner tonight and the boys just had a great time.

I know its hard to believe since he is so big, but one of the few things Brody will actually eat it bread...and oh boy will he chow down on it.

They both thought this was pretty funny. Brody has this weird green ball that Austin would hit him in the back of the head with and they would both start cracking up.

Haha okay, so I know I probably shouldn't think that this is funny..but I do. I don't even know why we have this pair of Devil horns, but we do and Austin wanted to put them on Brody. It just cracks me up how Brody's holding his hands up like hes trying to save himself. And the look on Austins face, haha pure enjoyment!

Whenever Austin comes over they know right were to go, the toy chest. These two boys have a great time together. I'm thinking Brody enjoys it a little more then Austin though. Brody needs to keep up with him then he will have more fun! They are a little over 10 months apart so as soon as Brody starts walking I think these boys will have so much fun together.
