Brodys favorite place to be is outside, his favorite thing to do outside is find bugs..more specifically worms!! He could pretty much live in this little dirt strip in my parents backyard. This is where they plant their tomato plants every year though, we will be sooo sad when we cant play in it this summer :(

Brody was so proud of all the worms he found. He went around and showed everyone his jar full of 108 worms!!! Yes, we actualy sat there and counted them. It doesnt look like that much since they are all in a ball but there was a ton of them.

Hand full of worms!! His boy is not afraid at all to get dirt and touch any kind of bug. He is definitely all boy.

As a side note, notice the humongous dinosaur egg "watch" Brody is wearing. It actually isnt a watch, its one of those tamagachi things we had when we were kids that he found laying around the house and insisted on wearing it. He is now obsessed with watches. He always has to have it on! Im thinking I need to buy him a real one. He also has a duck key hanging from his belt loop that he has to have one. He is so funny, he goes through these stages where he is obesessed with things!

Brody absolutly adores Kali, and she likes him a lot too. It had been a while since they played together and they were missing eachother. This morning we got a call from sweet miss Kali saying she wanted to play. I would take Kali any day of the week! Shes so easy to have around and such a sweetheart with Brody. We started the day off with going to lunch at Mcdonalds, Brodys favorite place (of course!). Brodys favorite spot at my parents house is this little dirt strip, mostly for finding worms. After lunch we filled it up with water and Brody and Kali had the time of their lives playing in it! I should have taken pictures right before they got in the bath because they were both covered in mud.

Watching a movie. The video below is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen, they were feeding eachother popcorn! Kali is so sweet and caring to Brody, she is like a little Mom to him.

We didnt take her home until 7:00. Even after hours of being together they still werent sick of eachother. She is the only person Brody can be around that long and not be a pill by the end.

April 3rd-6th, 2011

On our way back we stoped at the falls to take some pictures. It was really pretty, but also cold and wet so Bro didnt want to stay for very long. Anya and Evan went up to the bridge.

Dan had the idea to feed the seagulls from our hands. Suprizingly it worked. It was actualy kind of scary, I ended up throwing my bread before a bird got it. I wanted to keep all of my fingers without anything bites! Tons of birds were flying above us, and it wasnt till after our phone rang twice that we noticed a sign saying not to feed the birds at the hotel.

Brody loved swimming. The hot tub was not very hot at all so I let him get in and he had a blast.

Evan and Brody have the funkiest relationship. They pick on eachother so much (mostly Evan to Brody) But love eachother more then anything. I always say Brody is the little brother Evan never got to pick on.

I love love love the beach, so please excuse the tons of pictures. Its just so hard to pick.

I think my son is the most peculiar person I know. He has so many little things about him that he doesnt like or that has to be a certain way, It cracks me up. He loves to get dirty, but he does not like his hands to be too dirty. I think its a texture thing too, the sand on his hands was just a little too weird.

One of our favorie stops, the beach below the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport. Also the town where we get the best fish and chips at the Chowder Bowl. We cant come to the beach withouth eating there.

This year we spent spring break at our favorite place with the Burnett's, Lincoln City Oregon. We all had so much fun. It rained quiet a bit but it was still sooo nice to be there. Brody of course loved it, he would live outside if Id let him. He also found a new favorite thing, SWIMMING. Everytime we went he threw a huge fit when it was time to get out. Emma Became Bros new best friend. He cried when we had to leave her. We are so greatful that we get to have such fun memories with family and friends :)

Brody got knocked off balance by the water and fell completely in! Keep in mind it was pretty cold there, and the water was freezing. He didnt mind until the second time it happened, then it was a little too cold for him. Poor Emma got all wet picking Bro up.

These are not the best pictures (I couldnt figure out which setting to use) but I just had to post them. Brody had sooo much fun having a pillow fight with his aunt Ana! That little boy did not want to stop, he could have gone all night.

For being such a little guy he got her pretty good quiet a few times!

If Brody had his way he would stay in his Pj's all day every day, so Im shocked he even tried getting dressed at all! This is his attempt at getting his own jeans on. If only they were the right way he would have done a pretty good job.
